The Transponder Car Key

Since 1995 all makes and models of cars have now been fitted with a transponder microchip system. This system functions around two primary components, the processor found in the cars ECU and the transponder microchip embedded in the head of the ignition key. When an attempt to start the vehicle is made, the processor recognised the code sent by the microchip, the vehicle will be allowed to start. If the code does not match, the vehicle will not start.

The locksmith industry has not been able to duplicate these car keys with micro-chips in because the equipment has not been available.
We at N10 LOCKSMITHS, have been duplicating the micro-chipped car keys using a simple reader and writer hardware system. The combination of our IT technician and our locksmiths has given us the leading edge in the car key industry. Therefore we now have the Advanced Diagnostic M.V.P. System. (AD100) This system allows us to program the key via the vehicle, making it possible to duplicate the fixed, rolling and crypto codes. We can now duplicate most vehicle manufacturers’ keys and remotes to cars.
You can either drive to our shop on Muswell Hill Broadway, N10 or we can come to you in surrounding areas to N10. We can come out to programme your car anywhere in North London. The parking in N10 is not easy therefore we offer you a parking space at the rear entrance to our shop.
